It's super annoying how every time you join a new Slack channel, you have to create a new password, recreate your profile, etc. One person should have one account with Slack, not N accounts.

This post would be about why this is painful, how I'd fix it if I were Slack, and other considerations like how this probably impacts their metrics. General design / product-y post.
